Following the Ride 4 Moura Music Fundraiser, Band Director Chris Moura hopped on a plane and landed in Londoni to inspect accomodations and navigate logistics for the marching band and color guard who will perform at the 2024 London New Year's Day Parade.

Moura and his guest Kaarsten Turner had the honor of  being hosted by the Speaker of the House of Commons at his house in the Palace of Westminster.  The role of the Speaker, which has existed since 1377, chairs the debates in the Commons Chamber.  Very few people outside of heads of state are allowed into his house.

Rumors that Moura has been bitten by a werewolf have not been confirmed. Next band rehearsal is schedule for 4-6 p.m. on Monday, July 3 followed by the Fourth of July parade from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
