Meeting Minutes

April board meeting was called to order @ 7:00 PM.

Band Director:
Dance was fantastic we made 3700. Next year we need to start the baskets sooner and the nights need to be replaced. Thank you to everyone who helped set up and picked up after the dance. Next year we will try to fix speakers and signage.

The concert went well

Only fifteen more rehearsals until next concert

Fall Show has to be paid for 1795.00 is the total. Gary Gilroy piece, Will try to have an original piece for the following year.

Training has started on percussion and guard

Received an idea for a fundraiser bags and jewelry, sell out of the catalogs and have a party for the items. Holiday boutique.

Final concert is the 10th of May— Dinner @4:30

Honors night is May 3rd

Concern brought to Moura—Students who are working at snack shack need to work or go away!!

The Pit will not be playing at the musical, because they didn’t get the music in time.

Board President:
365- Alan has been working with Bill to get the program off to a start. Alan would like the reps to forward the information on to the groups.

Treasurer:

Deposit from Jazz Dance was finished. Receipts from the sound cart are coming in. Receipts are still being done for the winter season.
Guard show made 3158. We did well but not as much as last year. Sharks games will be added after most recent payment. Donations will also be updated to bring it closer to our estimate. Over in some areas and under in others.

Student Accounts:
Working on student statements and getting credits for bags, sharks, and Jazz Dance. Statements will go out by the end of the week.

Fundraiser Chair:
End of the year/Summer fundraisers. Mixed bag fundraiser going to stay open for online orders. Escript shows that we need to get paid but we have not been paid. Shares money is coming in. Someone look into getting more shares cards.
Holders will be moved to next week. Can we have a heavily student run fundraiser. Look into a bowl-a-thon or skate-a-thon
Want the Band Camp bbq to be changed to a food truck event. Band Camp would be June 6th. Hospitality will be having the bbq every day for the kids. Look into making the kids get a meal. We will plan a meeting for this.
Need to find out what the rules for NPO tips are. Save tips for a student trip or something at the end of the night. Parents who are making the money will get to keep.

Truck and Pit:
The wench on the truck is going out and needs to be fixed. Mike needs to email Steve to have it fixed. The golf cart has two flat tires.

Uniform Chair:
Need new gauntlets

New Business:
Bingo snack shack being put in order. Rita can no longer shop for Bingo. Barbara Sato would like to take this over.

Budget planning meeting needs to be held before the end of the year.
